Beate Wöllstein
Executive Pastry Chef at London's prestigious Grosvenor House Hotel, Beate began learning her craft in Germany through highly respected vocational training courses for confectioners. Her skills were further developed through practical training in various Konditorei's, earning her first position as Commis Patissier in a 5-star international hotel in Munich. Beate has since shared her craft in positions in Germany, Italy, the UAE, and of course here in the UK.
Beate has had the privilege to showcase her talents for many VIP's including royalty, world leaders, and internationally renowned celebrities. Amongst these include HRH Prince Phillip and HRH Princess Margaret, the Sultan of Brunei, the King of Bahrain, the British Prime Minister Tony Blair and the President of the USA George W. Bush, Frank Sinatra, Madonna, and Elton John, just to name a few.
Her work has been acclaimed with awards throughout her career and has captivated the attention of the press, having been featured most recently on the BBC for her incredible giant Chocolate Fabergé Egg, as shown in the main photograph.
